Trey Bowen

Chief Executive Officer

Trey Bowen

Trey is the CEO of Superior Bowen, a family business that has been a cornerstone in the community for decades. He was born and raised in Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst High School. From an early age, Trey learned the family business from the ground up with hands-on experience, working on crews in the various divisions of the company. Trey attended the University of Notre Dame and received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Computer Science. Upon graduation, he began his career working for Ernst and Young as a cash management consultant, building his expertise in corporate finance. After a few years, Trey joined Superior Bowen and strengthened their position in strategic planning, administration, and financial management/forecasting. Trey was named CEO of the company in 2016. In his time outside of the office, Trey enjoys travel, supporting the local sports teams, serving in the community and, most importantly, doting on his wife Rebecca and their three beautiful children.

Matt Bowen

Chief Operating Officer

Matt Bowen

Matt is a third-generation owner and Chief Operating Officer of Superior Bowen. He has overseen the company’s asphalt estimating and operations since 2008. Matt graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Civil Engineering before beginning his career as a Project Engineer and Estimator with two Northern California construction firms.

Matt carries forward the company’s legacy while driving innovation and growth in an evolving industry.

Julie Bowen

Chief Financial Officer

Julie Bowen

Julie Bowen serves as Chief Financial Officer of Legacy Infrastructure Group, providing strategic financial leadership that supports the organization’s growth and operational performance. She brings a strong record of results, including leading a more than 55% increase in revenue within an 11-month period at a previous company.

In addition to her role at Legacy Infrastructure Group, Julie is actively involved in the broader business community, serving as a Director for Great Plains Trust Company and on the Finance Committee for the Women’s Employment Network. She was honored by the Kansas City Business Journal as a 2024 “CFO of the Year” and a 2025 “Women of Influence.”

Sara Meinhard

Chief General Counsel

Sara Minard

Sara serves as General Counsel of Legacy Infrastructure Group, acting as the organization’s principal legal advisor and providing strategic guidance across all areas of legal and risk management. She brings broad experience advising companies of varying size and complexity, with a background that spans private practice, federal court work, and in-house leadership roles.

Prior to joining Legacy Infrastructure Group, Sara held senior legal positions supporting large, complex organizations, overseeing matters related to litigation, employment, transactions, investigations, and risk management. Her depth of experience and practical approach to legal strategy support the company’s continued growth and long-term success.

Jay Lemon

President (Haskell Lemon)

Jay Lemon

Jay Lemon serves as President of Haskell Lemon and is a third-generation owner, bringing decades of hands-on construction experience and operational leadership to the organization. He began his career in the field and developed a deep understanding of the business through work across asphalt production, materials, quality control, paving, and estimating.

Jay is actively engaged in advancing the asphalt industry, currently serving as Board Chair of the National Asphalt Pavement Alliance. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to industry advocacy, innovation, and the long-term strength of the field.

Jack Lemon

Vice President (Haskell Lemon)

Jack Lemon

Jack Lemon serves as Vice President of Haskell Lemon and is a fourth-generation owner, carrying forward his family’s long-standing commitment to the business. He began his career in the field, gaining hands-on experience across plant operations, crews, and the quality control lab before taking on broader operational and management responsibilities. Since joining Legacy Infrastructure Group, Jack has focused on overseeing general operations and supporting sustainable growth across the organization. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuity, helping strengthen the company while preserving the values that define its legacy.

Beyond the office, Jack cherishes time with his wife, Mandi, and their son, George. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys golf, pickleball, bird hunting, and bass fishing. His passion for the outdoors mirrors his commitment to preserving the spirit of the family enterprise for future generations.

Amanda Mohr

President (Superior Bowen)

Amanda Mohr

Amanda is the President of Superior Bowen. She joined the company in 2020 with a focus on delivering value through organic and acquisitive growth, optimizing financial and operational performance, and developing talent. Amanda spent the previous decade at Summit Materials (NYSE:SUM) which was a start-up company in 2009 and has grown to be a leading vertically integrated construction materials company in the US. During her tenure at Summit Materials, Amanda held progressive roles, the final six years of which she was Regional CFO. While at Summit Materials, Amanda oversaw the finance integrations of approximately 30 acquisitions and developed the company’s shared services organization. Her prior work experience includes almost a decade at a Yum!™ brands franchisee as well as several years at Grant Thornton and Koch Industries. As a native Kansan, Amanda graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Brian Johanning

Director of Business Development

Brian Johanning

Brian focuses his time on strategic development initiatives. In this cross-disciplined role, he focuses daily on creating a culture of communication and performance across Legacy Infrastructure Group and its affiliated companies. Brian’s background in heavy civil construction, engineering management, homebuilding and land development allows him to maintain a perspective that is broad and all-encompassing. His passion for performance-based contracting is evident with his involvement in the passage of legislation for alternative based contracting mechanisms, including design-build for political subdivisions in the State of Missouri. Brian holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University. He and his wife Courtney are the proud parents of three girls and reside in Riverside, Missouri.
