Trey Bowen

Chief Executive Officer

Trey Bowen

Trey is the CEO of Superior Bowen, a family business that has been a cornerstone in the community for decades. He was born and raised in Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst High School. From an early age, Trey learned the family business from the ground up with hands-on experience, working on crews in the various divisions of the company. Trey attended the University of Notre Dame and received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Computer Science. Upon graduation, he began his career working for Ernst and Young as a cash management consultant, building his expertise in corporate finance. After a few years, Trey joined Superior Bowen and strengthened their position in strategic planning, administration, and financial management/forecasting. Trey was named CEO of the company in 2016. In his time outside of the office, Trey enjoys travel, supporting the local sports teams, serving in the community and, most importantly, doting on his wife Rebecca and their three beautiful children.

Julie Bowen

Chief Financial Officer

Julie Bowen

Julie Bowen is the CFO for Legacy Infrastructure Group, bringing an incredible list of accomplishments to her position, including most recently increasing a former company’s revenues by over 55% in just 11 months. In that same time frame, Julie increased employee satisfaction over 50% by spearheading efforts to take the company culture to a more inclusive and engaged space. This is testament to Julie’s equal commitment to both the human side and the financial/operational side of the business. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Kansas State University with a Masters of Accountancy degree. Julie also serves as a Director for Great Plains Trust Company and is on the Finance Committee for Women’s Employment Network. Outside of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

Sara Meinhard

Chief General Counsel

Sara Minard

Sara is the General Counsel of Legacy Infrastructure Group, serving as the company’s main attorney and invaluable source of advice on all things legal. Sara grew up in Iowa, where she did her undergraduate work at Grinnell College before earning her J.D. at the University of Iowa College of Law. She honed her legal skills working for a federal judge and several large law firms in Seattle, Washington and Kansas City. Along the way, she represented companies of all sizes with a variety of legal issues before becoming an in-house attorney working on transactions for Sprint (now T-Mobile). Her career then took her to Cerner where she oversaw their worldwide legal affairs in the areas of litigation, employment, marketing, investigations, and risk management. Her experience and deep breadth of legal expertise is vital to the continued success of Legacy Infrastructure Group.

Jay Lemon

President (Haskell Lemon)

Jay Lemon

Jay Lemon began his career with Haskell Lemon in 1985 as a laborer before taking time off to attend The University of Oklahoma, where he earned his accounting degree in 1991. Upon returning to Haskell Lemon, Jay’s hard work and dedication led him from those humble beginnings to his current role as President of the 74-year-old construction company. Jay has spent decades working and learning in the company asphalt plants, sand plants, quality control lab, and paving before taking that ‘boots on the ground’ experience into the corporate office, assisting with estimating and administration. Modernizing our business, constantly improving with new strategic partners, and mentoring the next generation keep Jay busy every day. Jay epitomizes the family-friendly atmosphere of Legacy Infrastructure Group as his family has been part of ours for four generations. Jay and his wife, Kelly, enjoy spending time with their two children, Kate and Jack, and daughter-in-law, Mandi. They also enjoy being active in their church, travel, and spending time at the lake.

Amanda Mohr

President (Superior Bowen)

Amanda Mohr

Amanda is the President of Superior Bowen. She joined the company in 2020 with a focus on delivering value through organic and acquisitive growth, optimizing financial and operational performance, and developing talent. Amanda spent the previous decade at Summit Materials (NYSE:SUM) which was a start-up company in 2009 and has grown to be a leading vertically integrated construction materials company in the US. During her tenure at Summit Materials, Amanda held progressive roles, the final six years of which she was Regional CFO. While at Summit Materials, Amanda oversaw the finance integrations of approximately 30 acquisitions and developed the company’s shared services organization. Her prior work experience includes almost a decade at a Yum!™ brands franchisee as well as several years at Grant Thornton and Koch Industries. As a native Kansan, Amanda graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Brian Johanning

Director of Business Development

Brian Johanning

Brian focuses his time on strategic development initiatives. In this cross-disciplined role, he focuses daily on creating a culture of communication and performance across Legacy Infrastructure Group and its affiliated companies. Brian’s background in heavy civil construction, engineering management, homebuilding and land development allows him to maintain a perspective that is broad and all-encompassing. His passion for performance-based contracting is evident with his involvement in the passage of legislation for alternative based contracting mechanisms, including design-build for political subdivisions in the State of Missouri. Brian holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University. He and his wife Courtney are the proud parents of three girls and reside in Riverside, Missouri.
